Taft Charter High School Special Education Department is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. We believe in the potential of each student and strive to create a personalized path to success.

Our team of dedicated educators collaborates closely with students, families, and general education teachers to design Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs. We utilize a variety of resources and strategies to ensure all students can access the general education curriculum and participate meaningfully in all aspects of high school life.

We focus on providing specially designed instruction that meets the individual needs of our students. This may include adapting content, methodology, or delivery of instruction to allow students to access the curriculum and achieve defined educational standards.
